Greetings Rotarians, Without further delay, I apologize for my tardiness this week.

Club business:
1. The President is requesting comments and a critique of the current web site. How can it be improved. Everyone minimum one comment each please.
2. Re.  Google communication and sharing tools proposed by Leslie & James but not formally presented to the club for consideration as required.
3.Back to basics: In Rotary tradition, it is time to turn the wheel and "pass the microphone". Taking turns IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER by first name, each week a different member will host the club meeting (in preparation for you to each be President). Switching dates with a fellow member is allowed. This will begin November 4, with Secretary Anthony, followed by Astrudge. There will be no judgment and no critique of how the meeting was. It is just a process that we must become and be familiar with as Rotarians. For the benefit of our newer members, in summary this is how it's done.
"Running The Meeting"  requires you to;
• Be familiar with and list the active Club Business discussions.
• Report on weekly District news (available at our district website; www.rotarydistrict7255.org).
• Mention upcoming Calendar events and meetings to note.
 Reports gathered and submitted by, committees (Projects, Speakers...) and Executive board (Treasurers report, Secretary's report, District Rep report.)
 Guest Speaker or Member Presentations
• Have Good Fellowship
 Happy dollars & adjourn
4. Project progress, slow.
• Charles presented a draft of the financial plan for his school and when it is ready for students, I hope that we will be ready to sponsor some.
 As presented last month Jaynthi suggested a Dictionary project, Food drive, community service award,  Donating School supplies to coalition against child abuse & neglect(CCAN) at the  safe place in Bethpage, NY.
Leslie and Jay both suggested having multiple projects but I think we ought to take the first one first and build up to mulitiples.  We need more opinions to be expressed. Meanwhile I am bringing non-perishable food to the Leadership meeting for Brooklyn Interact on Saturday. If anyone else would make a pledge to pay me back I'll go shopping for your donation too. Words of wisdom repeatedly shared by Freeport Rotarian Past President RIP John Bozza;
“BE BOLD AND MIGHTY FORCES WILL COME TO YOUR AID”. by Goethe
“”WHATEVER YOU CAN DO, OR DREAM YOU CAN DO, BEGIN IT. BOLDNESS HAS GENIUS, POWER AND MAGIC IN IT. BEGIN IT NOW.” by Basil King

Membership: No report submitted this week, but I have 3 membership kits just waiting for our next members to be nominated.
PR Report: The website has been upgraded. Leslie reported that our district wants to help support us, so we need to accept that help as soon as we pick a project.

No Guest speaker this week. Just a praise report for Rotarians in the Philippines who helped stamp out Polio there.

My Happy Dollar is for my daughter Carly (16) who is so excited to become a big fashion designer. I love her energy, and I know that she will succeed. I’ll do anything I can to help her. Remember Rotarians, it is understood that family always comes first, provide for them, then do what you can for Rotary. Rotarians understand.
